Signature Global Foundation Announces Cancer Pre-Screening Initiative for Project Workers
Signature Global, one of India's leading real estate developers, through its CSR arm, Signature Global Foundation, announced a mega cancer pre-screening initiative for labour communities working across its project sites. Five health check-up and cancer screening camps were organised simultaneously across different locations to formally launch the initiative, which began on September 23, 2026.
Aarogya Rise: A Continuum of Care
The initiative has been launched under Aarogya Rise, the Foundation's flagship health programme, in partnership with the Sankalp Cancer Care Foundation. Sankalp will manage the entire process end-to-end, from the initial screening stages through to further treatment and follow-up care. This structured approach extends beyond single-event screening to ensure ongoing support for those identified as requiring further evaluation.
The Sankalp Cancer Care Foundation has also partnered with the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), Rohini, to take care of any further medical needs, diagnosis, and treatment required after the screenings. RGCIRC is a specialised medical facility based in Delhi, India specialising in cancer treatment and research.
Screening Scope and Services
Cancer screening includes clinical screening for oral cancer, clinical breast cancer screening and Pap smear-based cervical cancer screening for women, and prostate cancer consultation and screening for men. Specific lab tests, including HB, PSA and Pap Smear, will also be conducted.
In addition, the camps offer eye checkups with free spectacle distribution, and free medicines and sanitary pads. Ahead of the camps, the implementing partner conducted awareness sessions across project locations, sensitising beneficiaries to the importance of preventive screening and encouraging their participation.
